This KY Gives Day, we’re celebrating the life-changing impact of Amachi, one of our youth development ministries!
Amachi is a one-on-one youth mentoring program for kids impacted by incarceration and opioid misuse. Amachi is a Nigerian Igbo word meaning: who knows but what God has brought us through this child.
Imagine a city where every child impacted by incarceration has a caring adult pouring wisdom, encouragement, and hope into their life. Amachi is making that vision a reality by connecting children impacted by incarceration with committed, one-on-one mentors who walk alongside them, helping them reach their full potential.
