Who We Are
HighPoint is the principal resource for basic needs support in our area. We are a volunteer driven organization working to bring wholeness to the community by sharing of the gospel and meeting physical needs. HighPoint exists to meet the needs of children, fragile adults, the elderly, and families. HighPoint helps with resources to reduce the suffering of families caught in the cycle of hunger, poverty, and homelessness.
With over 200 volunteers serving each week, local mission partners, business supporters, prayer warriors, and faithful donors like yourself, we meet with families regularly to understand their circumstances, meet their basic needs, coordinate community support, and pray for them. This wholistic approach helps to address physical, emotional, and spiritual needs for those we serve. We utilize a variety of tools to help individuals and families overcome current challenges as well as equip them for future success.
Who We Serve
Families who visit HighPoint for help with basic needs are severely affected by the surge in the cost of living. In 2024 alone, HighPoint served an average of 391 clients each week with 583 new clients for the year because their income is not enough to cover their expenses. It's heartbreaking to see our neighbors, friends, and fellow community members feeling afraid and hopeless, struggling to feed their families, pay the rent, afford prescriptions, and fuel their cars to get to work. HighPoint Builders are committed to supporting the mission and operations of HighPoint by financially contributing on a monthly basis. HighPoint is sustained by donations from individuals, churches, and organizations who believe in our mission.
